Web also called the World Wide Web is a part of the Internet designed to allow easier navigation of the network through the use of graphical user interfaces and hypertext links between different addresses. It is a computer network consisting of a collection of internet sites that offer text and graphics and sound and animation resources through the hypertext transfer protocol.
Yodel or Yodeling (Jodeling in German) to sing by suddenly changing from a natural voice to a falsetto and back; also : to shout or call in a similar manner.
Yodeling is an old form of communication with celtic roots. It originated in the European Alps, in particular, in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. But different forms of yodeling can be also found in Central Europe, the Balkans, Scandinavia, and Italy, India, Hawaii, the South Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and Latin America.
It has been used as a form of entertainment but also as way to communicate over long distances like between mountain tops and valleys.
Web Yodel is combining yodeling, the well-proven way of communicating over long distances and entertainment, with the modern technology of the World Wide Web.
Web Yodel's founder, Margit "Mia" Mestdagh, grew up the Schoenau am Koenigssee in the Berchtesgaden Land.
Berchtesgaden is one of the most beautiful places in Germany In Berchtesgaden, yodeling is still a major part of the local culture.
