Sample entries: Bureau of Land Management, BMP Website The BLM BMP website provides basic and technical information on oil and gas BMPs. The site includes information on split estate development, copies of the Gold Book, awards for sustainable practices, and links to other sites. Environmental Protection Agency, Natural Gas STAR Program The Natural Gas STAR Program is a voluntary partnership that encourages companies across the natural gas and oil industries to adopt cost-effective technologies and practices that improve operational efficiency and reduce emissions of methane. Natural Gas STAR partners share information on cost-effective methane emission reduction technologies and practices via submission of Annual Reports detailing their emission reduction activities. To promote technology transfer and share industry best practices, the Natural Gas STAR Program provides information on cost effective methane emission reduction opportunities through a variety of mediums, including Lessons Learned Studies, Partner Reported Opportunities (PRO) Fact Sheets, Technical Presentations, and Partner Update Articles. Four Corners Air Quality Task Force The oil and gas work group analyzes emissions mitigation strategies. This website includes a table of mitigation strategies and links to documents on mitigation measures. Natural Resources Law Center The Natural Resources Law Center is a center within the University of Colorado School of Law. The Center was founded in 1982 to promote discussion of crucial natural resources law and policy issues and to foster practical and effective solutions to identified problems. The Center is committed to producing objective research and providing a neutral forum for discussions about these issues. Oil and Gas Accountability Project Best Practices Website The Oil and Gas Accountability Project BMP website provides information on BMPs for the drilling and completion phase and the production phase of development. Upper Green River Valley Coalition The Upper Green River Valley Coalition is a group of citizens, sportsmen, businesses and conservation organizations dedicated to responsible, sustainable management of the wildlife, waters and air quality of Wyoming's Upper Green. Their mission is to ensure energy extraction is balanced with the valley’s supreme natural values.
